Better Life Foundation is a Mutoko based women and youth empowerment community based non- governmental organization. The main thrust of the organization is to equip young women, girls and youth living in marginalized areas with knowledge on gender equality, leadership and advocacy skills and knowledge on reproductive health rights and women’s rights.
The organization is registered as a Trust and as a Youth Association with the Zimbabwe Youth Council.
Young women, girls and youth in remote areas grow up with little or no information concerning their rights and other issues that affect their lives. This deficiency makes them more vulnerable to abuse, manipulation and marginalization thereby sowing hopelessness and sometimes amounting to a complete lack of faith for a better future.
The organization subscribes to the principles of gender equality and equity, the right to liberty, information, knowledge and skills on income generation and promotion of healthy lifestyles of marginalized women and youth as prescribed in the new constitution as well as in principles in the constitution of Zimbabwe
